MEDCORAL PROGRAM – July 2024

I had the opportunity to collaborate with the MedCoral scientific program by creating an infographic used as a dive briefing to promote the area for recreational diving, showing the distribution of the coral gardens and highlighting the key species divers can encounter underwater.

The MedCoral program, led by the Asociación Hombre y Territorio (HyT), is Spain’s first nationally recognized initiative dedicated to the study, conservation, and restoration of Mediterranean corals, including the vulnerable orange coral Astroides calycularis endemic to the Mediterranean Sea. Through this program, four artificial coral gardens were established, planting tens of thousands of corals to help restore and enhance local reef habitats and biodiversity.
