CIENCIAGRAMERS COVER BOOK – March 2024

I created the illustrations and cover design for the book CIENCIAGRAMERS (Caligrama Publishing), written by Ángela Quintana Vega, PhD in Biochemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The book aims to introduce young readers to the wide range of careers related to Natural and Health Sciences. For this reason, the cover illustrations feature a curated selection of visual elements associated with these fields, composed as a collage to evoke and suggest the diversity of scientific disciplines addressed in the book.

The Spanish edition is available through Amazon and La Casa del Libro, and an English edition has also been published by Springer in January 2026.

DOCTORAL THESIS COVERS

Examples of illustration, design, and layout for doctoral thesis covers. The creative process begins with a meeting with the researcher to gain a deep understanding of their project, followed by a brainstorming phase in which ideas are assembled like a puzzle to shape the initial sketch and refine the final concept.

The result is an engaging and sometimes dreamlike cover that invites the reader in, honoring years of dedicated research and work.
